It is possible to connect Astiga to a folder that has been shared with you, by a different user, in Google Drive.

First, make a note of the folder’s ID. To find this, in the Google Drive Web UI, click on the folder and copy the ID to the right of folders/ in the URL:

1. Follow the usual steps to add a Google Drive account. After authenticating and authorising the request with Google, you will be returned to the Configure storage page.

2. Enter a Name, as usual. Leave the Token as-is.

3. For Initial folder enter simply: /.

4. Click Advanced settings. In the Root folder enter the folder ID you noted above.

5. Click Connect.

The shared folder should be browseable in the next step:

You can now Save Google Drive connection to save the storage connection and use it later (and sync with it to build your library).
